Morris Brown A.M.E. Church reaches back to 1881, making it one of the oldest churches in the A.M.E. Church Connection. It is named after the second Bishop of the A.M.E. Church and stands as a monument to the countless thousands who have labored there for nearly One hundred and thirty seven (137) years. We are proud to have this historic landmark as the lead Church in the Philadelphia Conference South District.
Hickman Temple A.M.E. Church is a major church in our District located strategically in West Philadelphia in a growing community. We are actively seeking persons who are looking for a church home to invest their time, talents and resources to help grow God’s House while working to advance the Kingdom of God. All Hands are Needed! Visit us for a spirit-filled Worship experience each and every Sunday morning.
